Privacy policy
This policy explains what information we collect when you use nanoco.us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. Our product stores, such as vgro.shop, and our partners' websites have their own policies.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to share: typically your name, email address, company, website, where you are based, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which collects standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring site. Squarespace uses cookies for site functionality and for its built-in analytics. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and interaction data to tell people from bots. Google's privacy policy and terms apply to that service.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation if there is a fit.
- To keep a record of who we have spoken with and what was discussed.
- To understand how the site is used and keep it working.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored by Squarespace and forwarded to our Google Workspace email. Conversations may be recorded in our internal customer records. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. If an enquiry concerns one of the companies we represent, we may share the relevant details with that company so they can respond. We will tell you when we do.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as there is an active or plausible business relationship, and then for the period required by law or normal business record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor the same requests from anyone, anywhere. Write to hello@nanoco.us and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
You can also block or clear cookies in your browser. The site will still work; the contact form may not, since reCAPTCHA depends on them.
Links to other sites
This site links to the companies we work with and build. Once you leave nanoco.us, their policies apply, not ours.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to form submissions and email is limited to Nanoco personnel and protected by two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
